We secured an order in 2011 from W.L. GORE & Associates to promote the new GORE-TEX®Active Shell Product Range. The project was for a shop floor display which would demonstrate what GORE stands for as a company - the highest quality and innovative technology ideas. We were told that out of the four companies that submitted designs, Impulse understood GORE, their communication patterns and their product, and achieved the task of relaying their message through our design most effectively.
This is an “all – encompassing” project which led us from a competitive visualization pitch to development and prototyping. This project incorporates a variety of materials from Timber, Metal, Print and Acrylic, to LED Lighting, a Full Sized Mannequin, an Interactive Screen and even Gravel!!
We’ve prototyped and manufactured the first order, and we will be starting the installation into premium outdoor retail stores in February. We have been chosen by GORE as their preferred supplier to carry out all aspects of this project, from design to manufacture, following on with installation and on-going maintenance. A great example of what Impulse can achieve.
